Art + Fashion: The Golden Thread

Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend an art and fashion event to launch new fashion by MIAMAI. The event consisted of a multimedia installation with models, photography and live performances. Monica Outander, owner of MIAMAI invited with the words: Come, follow the Golden Thread on a journey that will take you to the heart of life and love.

The visitors( in given avatars) has been part of the event and traveled in a ship through the installation, guided by a narrator.

There was so much to see and to hear. A highlight was the performance of theThe Basilique Performing Arts Company:

Eve flirting with the snake

They showed the story of Adam and Eve as a ballet. The music mainly used parts of Mozart's Requiem. A touching match to the performance. After falling into sin they got dressed.

The performance ended with a spectacular show of the ChangHigh Trinity Sisters. The whole event was a joy for eyes and ears.

See here a video by Thalia Heckroth:

And a second by Forren Ashford, which I could not embed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfRK6qByPn4&feature=youtu.be

The visitors seats has been limited to 25 for each of the two performances. A well visited live stream enabled for more audience. The video of the live recording will be available in the next days. As soon as it is out, I will add here.

But the location will be open for a month and can be visited: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sprout/164/140/42
