Perspectives

How to deal with their RL Art in Second Life is always a challenge for artists. Here are 2 interesting examples:

"Abstract Dimensions"

Nino Vichan placed his paintings in a space which gives them much radiance. The exhibition is combined with quotes at the walls and in the chat. I especially liked this:

Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult.
It demands that you know how to draw well,
that you have a heightened sensitivity for composition and for color,
and that you be a true poet.
    This last is essential.
    (Wassily Kandinsky)

Nino is a true poet.

Chapter Kronfeld gave RL Paintings several layers. So depending from the point of view they expose different pictures. How often do we forget that we always have to deal with that when we communicate with others? That's why he called the exhibition "Sichtweisen" (Points of View). It opens today at 11 AM.

Chapter, who opened recently his new gallery, has currently as well an interesting work at Pirats about the protection of art. It shows that as much as freedom of art needs to be saved it can lead to a position outside of everydays life.
