When the tower to the World Fair in 1889 has been completed by the French engineer Gustave Eiffel , it was regarded as an eyesore. Of course, especially artists has been the most upset and started hate campaigns against it. Today it is the landmark of Paris.
But how would Eiffel probably build today? Colpo Wexler has an answer: A beautiful, transparent construction of titanium, glass and aluminum, it so nice that no one would fight against it.
But would it also persist more than 100 years?
