Sneak preview: Two Openings Tomorrow

Art India Gallery (curated by me *cough*) is happy to announce the opening of a third exhibition:

FRIDAY 31. @ 12-2 PM SLT:

GABRIELLE SWINDLEHURST -Virtual  Americana

About the artist: Having studied literature and journalism, Gabrielle spent her early years on SL avidly roleplaying and admining on combat sims. When her urge to kick things faltered, she started posting the pictures she was taking on flickr. Encouraged by her contacts, she really started enjoying photographing, building and texturing. She has been involved in a few decorating projects as well as some exhibitions. She likes working on SL because they make it easy to control what she wants to show. When in RL can you move a wall to improve a composition? She likes the editing process. Starting from an imperfect image and improving it to her liking.

Her "Virtual Americana" exhibition is based on images taken on sims representing SL's largest population.

WILLIAM WEAVER - 'build 010' UPDATED

Updated build 010 by William Weaver
William's work finds more and more appreciation in many blogs and therefore we are happy about a growing number of visitors. He decided to update his work with photos never seen before on his Flickr. Some of the photos are all set on sale for 0 (ZERO!!!) Linden.

Updated build 010 by William Weaver

The beautiful and much appreciated show 'Best of Eyecandi' by Fiona Leitner is still running at the landing point. Take the TP from there to the other exhibtions.

Opening tomorrow, Friday at 12-2 PM SLT featuring DJ Eif (Eifachfilm Vacirca).

Taxi: sadly gone
Take the TP to 'build 010' and 'Virtual Americana' at the landing point!

After that, the next opening is waiting:

FRIDAY 31. @ 2 PM SLT:

Betty Tureaud: ARAL SEA

Colorful Dust

Betty Tureaud about the Aral: Formerly one of the four largest lakes in the world with an area of 68,000 square kilometres (26,300 sq mi), the Aral Sea has been steadily shrinking since the 1960s after the rivers that fed it were diverted by Soviet irrigation projects. By 2007, it had declined to 10% of its original size.

Trying the cars with Betty Tureaud
The lighthouse shows photos about the drying lake. It is really a tragedy for the nature and influences the climate worldwide. But Betty makes as always the best of it. At the ground of the lake you can get a bumper car which can fly as well. The huge dust of course has "Betty colours". Our trial was much fun!

Opening tomorrow 2 PM SLT with a concert by Ultraviolet Alter!
