Roni (Ronda) Saunders changed with "Eyeworld" the Nitroglobus Gallery into a strange world of eyes and mushrooms. You should not miss the Magic Mushroom Trip by clicking on them. A cool way to explore an exhibition.
I think all visitors had a unique meaning at the opening: Betty Tureaud's "UFO" is without any doubt one of her best works. The interactive installation shows in 10 levels her playful and beautiful builds. The visitor is invited to "click and walk on everything". UFO's are moving the visitors forward.
In her invitation she wrote about the god spot, which some scientists meant to find in the human brain. Betty says, her inspiration comes from the God Spot.
f you cannot imagine what could be hidden behind the title of the installation - welcome to the club. I talked to the builder. Let me explain: Ataro Asbrink built a sim with an industrial / phantasy setting in red and black. You can walk around and explore. Try to sit on objects an click ESC. The objects might take the camera control and show you different views of the sim.
The new and special feature is in the signs boards at the landing spot. Each one of them provides a different HUD on click. Wear and click the HUD and follow the instructions. The camera shows you a scripted movie in 3D. Ataro told me that the HUD causes less lag than scripted prims and that this way a larger amount of avatars can watch the "movies" at the same time. That is smart, beautiful and absolutely worth a look!
Make sure to have draw distance at least on 128m, particles enabled and sun position on Midnight.
Time is running! only a few days and the current LEA Land Grant round is closing. Last week opened finally LEA18, which you should not miss. Besides a cinema showing machinima by Marx Catteneo it presents several new works by Artistide Despres and Pixels Sideways.
Especially fun I had with exploring the Panic Room by Marx Catteneo and Aen Aenis.I suggest to sign a life insurance contract before visiting.
Meilo Minotaur and CapCat Ragu asked in their project Meta Body II for newly created avatars based on their provided Meta Body avatars. They could collect 26 avatars by 22 creators.
These avatars are now displayed and available as gifts in the redesigned sim Delicatessen on 4 beautifully designed stages. All stages contain avatars to get and surprises.

The original avatars are still available full perm and free at the landing spot. Get them and create your own avatar. Photos can be shared the Flickr group.
Meta Body II is open now. Don't miss this wonderful place. Oh... and I loved the sounds by Takio Ra.
"Ladies and gentlemen allow me to direct your attention to the centre stage where you will bear witness to terrifying sights that will haunt you to the day you die....behold the Circus Diabolique and let the nightmare begin."
Be drawn into the world of the dark circus in this second dance piece by artist Fae Varriale and her dance company DiversionzDance, which was created as a vehicle for marrying her love of contemporary dance with a love of creating immersive artwork.

Friday February 22nd at 3pm SLT. The performance lasts about 30 minutes!
Second Life provides many games, especially hunts. Usually it is always about finding an item and if you know what to look for, even a trained monkey can pass the game. Then there are games where skills are needed, like fast fast mouse moving, shooting or building. Nothing for people who prefer to use their brain instead of fast reactions.
Going to swim or looking for something?
The Global Domination is a puzzle that requires different skills at any destination. You have first to find out what to do. You need to see what could belong to the game, you need sometimes to collect items or bring items, you need to answer questions. All is possible. I was happy to know without Google, how Morrocan's relax, but with the Mexican holidays I would have been lost. Often you get teleports to especially built locations, where you again have to find out what to do. To make it short, the game is a dream for all who love to explore.
What to do here?
It made me curious, that all 16 participating vendors are really big names in SL. And 300 Linden before game start and now 400 are unusual high for he needed game HUD. But the gamers get already different gifts when they buy the HUD, depending on the shop they choose to buy.
Go to the shop, buy a HUD and start!
The huge amount of work alone for the puzzle destinations is well worth the Linden!
Global Dominion is the perfect entertainment for all, who want to use their brain and are usually fast bored in games. Of course some time is needed too and so I am very sorry, that is all for today ;)
I need to go travelling around the world...
Sorry, I could not resist. When one of the most famous fairytales in Germany is subject of an installation, I had to use the German title. Actually the roots of the fairytale can be found in several European countries and it is not clear since when the lore has been told. It could be one of the oldest stories in Europe at all. But as far as I know it has been the French Version which has been written down first ever under he title "Le Chaperon Rouge" in 1697.
It is the story of a young girl on the threshold at the adulthood which becomes victim of a beast. Of course it was told with a moral background and of course it is only to been seen between the lines, as it was impossible to write it clearly down at that time. The German version by the Brothers Grimm from 1790 has a good ending, different from the French version.
The titleof the installation "LRRH" is referring to the English title: Litte Red Riding Hood. It was really time to show the adult version. Alpha Auer, Cherry Manga and Soror Nishi did an excellent job under the curation of the storyteller Mimesis Monday. Now and then she will be telling in the installations. It should be posted in Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/207963129342229/?fref=ts
Mimesis (Heidi Dahlsveen RL) wrote in the invitation: "She was born among farmers and raised in the Sun King’s chamber. She survived the brutality of the Baroque and Victorian times puritanism. Romanticism modified her into a cute little child and since then she has remained in the childhood."
This wonderful avatar, created by Alpha Auer, is visitors gift
See the little girl growing mature!

The interview gives interestings insights in the works of both artists and why they prefer do work with native prims. And the wonderful photos in the article are taken by Annough Lykin.
Is there anyone which has not heard about this event? If not, here a short information:

About One Billion Rising
One in three women on the planet is raped or beaten in her lifetime. That is ONE BILLION WOMEN violated. One billion daughters, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, lovers and friends. On February 14, 2013, V-Day's 15th Anniversary, we are inviting ONE BILLION women and those who love them to WALK OUT, DANCE, RISE UP, and DEMAND an end to this violence. ONE BILLION RISING will move the earth, activating women and men to dance across every country. For more information go to http://www.onebillionrising.org/.
When Honour McMillan gave me the link to the related song, I was really moved:
The SL version is wonderful, because it shows the broadness of our virtual world:
I was moved by the project, because just pointing to the 'bad men' will not change anything. And this video does better, it reminds of the female strength What we need for a better world are women with self confidence, equal rights, equal payment and economical independence. I saw too often that women not even dare to contradict men, to me the root of all pain. And here I think we need to wake up parents and teachers, what their part of the bad game is. And not to forget the huge religions, especially Islam and Christianity, which are represented by men who fully support the suppression of women. A text of a man, who was the result of his mothers rape, brought me to tears recently. How can a religion that talks about benevolence forbid an abortion after a rape and ruin mother's and child's life with it?
CapCat Ragu + Milo Minotaur
But sadly these religions are also supported by women, who love to follow. Isn't it sick, that women torture their own daughters with genital mutilation? And here I come to a point that is important for me to express:
Women are not better humans, they are just physically weaker and trained to obey men!
Who is talking about abuse of male children? Who is talking about violent and loveless mothers? Who is talking about verbal violence? Do you know that in 66% of mobbing cases, women are the offenders? Most likely as bosses. If you consider that we sadly still have not enough women in higher management positions you can see, that verbal violence by women is a serious problem. Mobbing can be found very often in companies with only women. Can you imagine that men go on the streets to dance for a better treatment by women? The world would laugh about them. And by the way, circumcision of a male child is clearly injury too. I hate the word tradition when it is it used to excuse barbarism.
Daco Monday
I was all my life a supporter of women's lib and I still think, it is still a long way to be finished. But more and more I understood that the male's role in a new world is still unclear. The expectations against men by women are endless nowadays. Even the most successful friend I have is searching for a man "to look up". Of course, she is still single with 40. Superman, more successful and smarter than her, did not show up. What regularly is upsetting me are housewives which enjoy a luxury life because of his success in business, but complain endlessly that their men have so few time for the family. And I know loads of them.
Romy Nayar
The trickiest problem is sexual assault. Of course that is not acceptable. But where are the borders? Love, sex and political correctness never will go along well. We just had a scandal in Germany. An older politician gave a young female journalist in a bar a quite personal compliment about her shape. She wrote about it in a magazine and that caused a huge discussion. Women still expect men to do the first step. But when it is the wrong man, it fast can be seen as sexual offending. The judgement is completely subjective by the woman's choice. I am sure if Brad Pitt or George Clooney had said the same instead of the politician she would have been excited.
I like men and I enjoy to live and work with men, although I met some assholes in my life too. It is known that companies with a mixed management are more successful. I don't want a world where men and women can't work, go for a drink together or even use the same elevator, just because every man is suspected to be a violator. That vision is pure horror to me!
Let's dance for equal rights, values, independence and understanding today!
My friend Zeedee Bellic sent me a Valentine's gift. A frog with kiss animation:
Curiosity about the creator brought me to Valentines town. A cute place to find a gift for a special someone or a nice walk with him/her.
Zeedee and I have a special relationship. She is one of the best Tarot readers I ever met. I do readings too, but everyone tends to wear pink glasses for the own cards. So we do readings for each other and of course we know a lot about the others life. Sometimes it feels to me as if the Blind and the Lame are helping each other over the street. But it works! Usually...
...but back to the frog I seriously have to complain. I took on my best dress, gave the frog a passionate kiss and - nothing happened. The frog stayed to be a frog with crown. Since then I am thinking what Zeedee wanted to say me with this gift ;)
