Friday opened the latest event at Art India Gallery: Music Box for Children
After the succesful Art of Protest contest we wanted to show something at the Art India Gallery that fits to the Christmas time. After talks with artists this idea was born. The exhibtion is an auction and sale in favor of SOS Children India. Gallery owner Veekay Navarathna will donate the raised funds without any loss of transactions directly in India.
Thanks to Trill Zapatero the exhibtion turned to a beautiful, dreamy landscape which invites to skate. You find free skaters at the landing spot and can use them to explore the huge exhibtion. 24 artists contributed partly more than one work. And I must admit that we are a little bit proud of the list of names:
Arduenn Schwartzman, Betty Tureaud, Bryn Oh, Eliza Wierwight ,chefkoch, Eupalinos Ugajin, Giovanna Cerise, Haveit Neox, Igor Ballyhoo, Josiane Sorciere, Linus Humphreys, Lorin Tone, Melusina Parkin, Pallina60 Loon, Pol Jarvinen, SaveMe Oh, Secret Rage, Shari Davies, Sir Real, Rebeca Bashly, Rose Borchovski/Caer Balogh, Trill Zapatero and Ub Yifu.
Almost all works are no copy/ trans to have the music boxes available as gifts. The variety of ideas and styles isa mazing: From classic to modern, from poetic to funny. The majority of music boxes are on sale with prices starting from 10 to 1.000 Linden.
Some of the works are on auction, which runs until dec. 22nd, to have them for Christmas.
See here the beautiful music boxes in the auction:
Bryn Oh - Night Mare
Eliza Wierwight - SOS Music Box
Igor Ballyhoo - The Eyes of my eyes
Rebeca Bashly - Old music box
Trill Zapatero - Ice Siren Music Box
Ub Yifu - Gramophone
But the real fun is to hear them! Come and bid until December 22nd!
The entire exhibition runs until Jan. 22nd.
